1) Rubicon Trail

Rubicon Trail 560x373We save one of the most famous for last on our list. It’s a place you’ll never want to leave, the Rubicon Trail located in California. Spanning 22 miles, the Rubicon Trail is an off-roader’s fantasy that was originally a footpath utilized by Native Americans. You can gain entry to the trail at Wentworth Springs or at Lake Tahoe. Although there are sections that are amateur friendly, don’t think that this trail is for the novice. There are plenty of short climbs and ledges to keep you busy and entertain you for hours.
